Sorry @lukeed, I completely forgot to reply to this. This is pretty much exactly what I was proposing indeed. My biggest piece of feedback is that I would call it .mount because that is how filesystem mounts work as well. That entire directory and all subdirectories and now managed by whatever you mounted there.

It will be mount. And it's coming in an upcoming @next release, which means it'll be part of 0.8

No worries! I forgot about filesystem mounting. I think that has decided it for us :D

You can just rename it however you like. I'd just go with the standard naming however inaccurate (what expressjs uses). I like never used expressjs but I'd probably find myself renaming it with my memory. Is this landing sometime soon?
