grapejuice-flatpak's Issues

Studio locks up while attempting to log in.

Even after reinstalling grapejuice-flatpak and clearing the ~/.var/app/com.gitlab.brinkervii.grapejuice folder repeatedly, can't log into Studio as after I press "Log in" and it confirms the username and password are correct, which then it opens a browser tab going to Roblox which then should return to Roblox Studio to complete the log-in attempt but it locks up on that last part.

Forcing Studio to close by killing the process of course works, but log in still failed.

Using Fedora Silverblue 36, have installed all necessary Flatpak dependencies such as Wine, though I did install the non-Flatpak Grapejuice before but uninstalled it prior to trying out the Flatpak fork.

Unable to load summary from remote grapejuiceTest.

I tried to intsall this and got this code.

"Unable to load summary from remote grapejuiceTest: Remote listing for grapejuiceTest not available; server has no summary file. Check the URL passed to remote-add was valid."

I don't know if im just a idiot or what but I'm extremely new to linux and have no clue what im doing. Tips greatly accepted.

Grapejuice flatpak no dark theme

The grapejuice flatpak wont respond when the system switches to darkmode.

Grapejuice settings arent saved

When enabling settings in the grapejuice GUI it will install the changes on the wine prefix but wont actually use them, after restarting grapejuice all the settings will just be the default but it will still be installed on the prefix

edit: this has led to me accidently breaking my wine prefix im trying to reliably reproduce

Doesn't launch

After an (almost) fresh install of Fedora 36 and this flatpak, it has this error when I try to launcher Roblox player or Studio.

I've only just installed Fedora 36 yesterday on my ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DD laptop with an Nvidia GPU. I cloned this Github repository and used the install.sh script.

starting grapejuice flatpak missing wine error

hello!
just to note im not a very good tester but ill try my best to write up bug reports to improve this application!

i have installed the grapejuice flatpak which went quite well,
now i am trying to run flatpak run com.gitlab.brinkervii.grapejuice app to run grapejuice
now the app seems to starts correctly, but it seems that the grapejuice application doesnt have acces to the directory holding wine "/bin" since this application is sandboxed.

couple sollutions i could think of

1. add detection for the flatpak version of wine (and make it a dependency)
2. add a detection for versions of wine stored in places like "~/.local/share/lutris/runners/wine/" and "~/.var/app/com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl/config/heroic/tools/wine/"
   but considering that roblox needs the mouse patch this would only be temporary sollution

Roblox fps unlocker doesnt work

When enabling Roblox fps unlocker and starting a game the application will crash

Grapejuice icon broken in search

When you search for the grapejuice icon in KDE's search menu the icon for the Grapejuice will just be empty, but the icon in the panel will work after flashing from the "default no icon" icon to the grapejuice icon

Creating player prefix Render unselected

Creating the Player winePrefix will select the render as undetermined by default, while with Studio the default is DX11

Winetricks option doesnt work

When trying to launch winetricks from the "Wine apps" option winetricks will not open.

Is this project discontinued? There hasn't been any updates in almost 3 weeks.

Roblox Player fails to start

Roblox Player fails to start, due to issues with VMProtect.

Log files arent saved in the correct directory

Grapejuice by default will save the log files in "~/.local/var/log/grapejuice/" but since flatpak is sandboxed it will not have acces to that.
to fix this youll need to change the log directory to save somewhere in the flatpak container in "~/.var/app/com.gitlab.brinkervii.grapejuice/"

submission to flathub

Will you create a submission for flathub now that its in a playable state?
this way user would have an easier time getting grapejuice and start playing roblox.
Imo this should be the next goal
