mppatch's Issues

Macintosh OS?

I am having an issue with a Macintosh that is saying its OS isn't accepted when running the .jar file or something and one of the most recent OS is downloaded so i don't understand the problem. However, i do see it was last modified around a year ago and is kinda irreverent. It is running on macos 10.13.4

Mac Support

  • Acquire a Mac, or find a developer with one with reverse engineering skills.
  • Find the hook points in the Mac version of Civ V and pray that there's no digital signature or -flto or whatever nonsense to contend with.
  • Implement a patch for the Mac version.
  • Add Darwin platform to the installer.
  • Set up crossosx for CI builds.

Sometimes, leaving the mods menu fails to actually disable mods.

Sometimes, it seems that mods aren't successfully disabled after the mods menu is closed. This causes database errors when Civ V tries to activate a mod twice (apparently).

Reproduction steps:

  • Enter the mods menu, enabling a few civilization mods.
  • Host a multiplayer game.
  • Exit the hosted game, and exit the mods menu.
  • Disable a civ mod and enable a civ mod.
  • Observe that any modded civs from mods you kept enabled across both times you entered the mod mod selection menu are missing.

Cannot open production menu in "Super Power: Clash of Civilizations"

When playing with the super power: clash of civilizations mod in multiplayer, other players in the game cannot open the production menu. Everything works fine for the host.

Also, when the other player turned their production to automatic and we both ended our turn, the game desynced.
