Setup for Ubuntu

These are the tools, programs and dependencies I usually install everytime I do a fresh Ubuntu installation.

For executing the installation, run:

./setup.sh

Your password will be required since most of the installations need sudo permissions. The script will install:

  • Gimp
  • Google Chrome
  • Python 3
  • Python dependencies (lzma)
  • Pyenv
  • Snap
  • Spotify
  • Telegram
  • TexLive
  • TexMaker
  • Visual Studio Code and the following extensions
