Akeneo Product Attributes Translator

Akeneo's extension adding new mass edit type "Translate attributes".

How to download and install the connector:

Install composer dependency

composer require macopedia/akeneo-product-translation

register bundle in config/bundles.php

];

define Google Cloud Translate API Key in .env file:

GOOGLE_API_KEY=yourapikey

add new job instance

bin/console akeneo:batch:create-job internal update_product_translations mass_edit update_product_translations '{}' 'Translate product'

Features:

With Akeneo Product Attributes Translator you can make mass edit job to translate multiple text attributes from one channel and one locale to target channel and target locale.

Extension uses Google Cloud Translation API

Requirements:

• Akeneo PIM >= 4.x

Could not find a matching version of package.

Hi,
I was trying to install your package but I get the following error when requiring it

Error
Could not find a matching version of package macopedia/akeneo-product-translation. Check the package spelling, your version constraint and that the package is available in a stability which matche s your minimum-stability (stable).

Error after doing a cache:clear

Hello @piotrmus ,

After updating the extension from 0.1.9 to 0.1.10, I got the following error during a clear:cache
Version Akeneo 5.0.57 CE
The error message:

In CheckExceptionOnInvalidReferenceBehaviorPass.php line 86:

  The service "Piotrmus\Translator\Connector\Processor\MassEdit\TranslateAttributesProcessor" has a dependency on a non-existent service "pim_catalog.updater.entity_with_values_property_setter_without_permission".

Can you help? Thank you

How does this package work?

I have installed this package but I don't see how the translation is done, and nothing new appears when I click on the bulk edit action.

Error on adding job instance : job not registered

Hey there,

Install went fine, but it's impossible to add a job instance:

11:54:27 CRITICAL [console] Error thrown while running command "akeneo:batch:create-job internal update_product_translations mass_edit update_product_translations '{}' 'Translate product'". Message: "The job "update_product_translations" is not registered" ["exception" => Akeneo\Tool\Component\Batch\Job\UndefinedJobException^ { …},"command" => "akeneo:batch:create-job internal update_product_translations mass_edit update_product_translations '{}' 'Translate product'","message" => "The job "update_product_translations" is not registered"]

As a consequence, when trying to confirm a translation to make, it triggers an error 500 on /rest/mass_edit, and the exact error in logs is:

getting dependency error after installing

Hey,
I am getting an dependency error after installing the extension.
Steps to reproduce:
composer require piotrmus/akeneo-product-translation
added \Piotrmus\Translator\PiotrmusTranslatorBundle::class => ['dev' => true, 'test' => true, 'prod' => true], to bunles.php
added bin/console akeneo:batch:create-job internal update_product_translations mass_edit update_product_translations '{}' 'Translate product'
then I wanted to rebuild the frontend. Typed
bin/console cache:clear
but got an error:
The service "piotrmus.step.update_product_translations.mass_edit" has a dependency on a non-existent service "akeneo_batch.job.job_stopper".

It's weird, because akeneo also uses this dependency.

Akeneo Version 4.0.124
Piotrmus Version 0.1.10

can you help me out?
