whatmanager2's Issues

Download a transcoded version on-the-fly

Separate download link which allows you to request a transcode for personal download rather than for uploading to the site. So if you have a flac in WM, you can dl it as flac, 320, or V0 (assuming you are patient enough)

Refactor WM so that the torrent classes are generic and RED is a sub-app

Right now, WM is built around WCD/RED with other site support tacked on in an inefficient manner. Rewrite major portions of it to transition it to a generic torrent management tool with plugins/apps for each site. This should improve the ease of development/expansion and encourage more community support.

Collection Listing Table

It'd be nice to have a spreadsheet like view that shows you a list of artists on the far left column, then number of Albums, Singles, Discographies, etc you have.

Even further, it'd be nice to see "8/10" meaning you have "8 out of 10" albums. This would go a long way towards folks wanting to collect an artist's entire collection.

MySQL-python not compatible with mysql 8

mysql-python installed by setup.sh is not compatible with mysql 8. pip install mysql-python results in an error stating that my_config.h is missing (full log down). I looked for some solutions online but could not find anything. The pypi project page does say it's only compatible with mysql up to v5.5 and python 2.7.

My specific mysql version is 8.0.18-cluster MySQL Cluster Community Server - GPL

Properly inform the user of missing profile snapshots in the profile page

When these exceptions occur:

This normally results in a blank profile page without any information about the underlying exceptions. We should let the user know that no snapshots exist and provide some helpful direction
