How do I set a section heading if its prefix is both the character it starts with?

How do I set a section heading if its prefix is both the character it starts with?

For example if I have a markdown file with the .md file extension.

# header 1
some text here

# header 2
some other text here

## header 2.1
this is for a subheader

Using your plugin, I can only find subheaders as a section to navigate through, as the subheader has 2 symbols whereas the top level header only has one.

So how can this be achieved?

Unable to open settings / key bindings

I am not able to change neither the settings nor key bindings.

Feat Suggestion: Outline view

Just a suggestion.

I think it would be useful, especially in cases that the list is too long, to provide an outline view like the Outline pkg.

Settings order could be improved

The idea of the order was to provide the most user-friendly option(s) at the top. This has made the whole order confusing given that scope_comment_chars is the main setting everything depends on but is second last.

Order should be (something like):

• default_level_char : most used
• level_char_format_sub : also used
• scope_comment_chars : everything that follows relies on this
• level_chars
• custom_comment_start_patterns

Add code folding like MarkdownEditing

Markdown Editing plugin allows code folding based on headings (as well as direct navigation to the next heading with an awareness of hierarchy too).

Could be added to comment marks?

Remove closing comment syntax

Thanks for this plugin! This is actually something I have been looking for for a while now, since Table of Comments wasn't usable in bigger files. This plugin, however, still performances well in big files, so I can finally use it :)

I use it to navigate a css file, and with the CSS comment Syntax, it displays the closing */, which unnecessarily clutter the plugin's goto. Could those be maybe removed?

FR: Sort by recency

I use the plugin practically daily now, and what I notice is that it seems the items are not sorted by recency/frequency. It would be fantastic if it did, so that for a I use regularly mark, I can directly press enter. 🙂
