Thank you for reporting and collaboration.

Verified the issue on Magento 2.4-develop instance and the issue is not reproducible.Kindly recheck the issue in Latest magento 2.4-develop instance and also check any third party modules causing the issue.

I checked using show PROCESSLIST on the database , there are multiple distinct query related to indexer.
may i know why it happening and how i can fix this issue.

Thank you for the quick response!

This might have caused from a third party module.
Please try disabling custom modules to see if the problem persists, this will help in narrowing down the source of the problem.
