[OOT] How do I print the current jitter in Terminal?

While I appreciate all the codes that came with the Readme, I couldn't find a single code for displaying the current jitter while playing audio, similar to the "ping" code on windows. The www couldn't help me either.

low speaker volume?

Nice mod

I like this mod, I can spot the the difference rather way, but it was a bug or problem, at list for me.
Everything works great except one thing.
Then I go calling somebody it switch off immediately from 4G aka "LTE" to 3G and that turn off voice quality enhancement that only 4G was, I can still listen good but in other side of the call not they say it's not the same voice quality, with this mod deactivate the call stays in 4G.

there is no SBC Dual channel mode with increased bitrate

Everything works great in this module, but there is no increased SBC bitrate in Dual channel mode. OS LineageOS 21 (Android 14)

[Realme GT Neo2] Volume steps unchanged on Android 12 / Realme UI 3.0

Hello, I recently updated my phone, the Realme GT Neo2, to android 12 (RUI 3.0) and the magisk module doesn't manage to change the volume steps anymore. The rest of the module's functionalities seem to work just fine as i do notice a sound difference between flashing and not flashing the mod, but the volume steps remain unchanged.

However this worked just fine when I was still on android 11 (so Realme UI 2.0); any advice on this? Or any way I can help to fix this?

Feature Request: Undo script

Hello, i tried out this module to see if it'll improve the audio performance of my device and well it didn't really seem like it did for me and it also made JamesDSP not work anymore even after installing. Please give us a a way of reversing the changes this made on our devices, thank you.

Moondrop River 2 noise floor

This is not a problem with this module, but I would like to seek your advice.

I have a Moondrop River 2 USB DAC, but when I plug it into my Android phone and start playing music, there is some background noise, and nothing if it's not playing.

I also tried an app like Hiby Music, if the USB exclusive output is enabled, there will be no background noise.

I asked the Moondrop folks and they told me it's due to Android's SRC algorithm.

I tried this mod on Nokia 7 on Android 9 and the problem is still not resolved, do you know any solution?

Front camera conflict

On the POCO F2 Pro, with a front cam module that pops out, it doesn't work anymore when this module is installed. When uninstalled it goes back to working normally.

After playing with it, I noticed the sensor works since I can see some light passing through. It's just that the module doesn't pop out.

Number of steps in media volume don't change on OnePlus 9/10 Pro

Hi, I've always used this module on OnePlus 6 and 6T.

After upgrading my phones, the number of steps in media volume doesn't change, it remains the default.

Hello! I've just came across your repo after a friend of mine suggested me to flash these modules to get bonestock audio out of Android without any of the unnecessary processing... I have a small issue. Well I've just got my FiiO BTR5 (Bluetooth DAC) when can stream LDAC @ 96kHz/32bit but I'm slightly puzzled because I'm aware that this module basically gets rids of all the audio processing and even third-party EQ softwares.

So basically I'm trying to know if it's worth flashing the module and living without a system wide EQ (like Wavelet, V4A, JDSP and etc.) or whether it's better to just ignore this module and flash the rest in order for me to have Effects Framework enabled? Like what would be the best scenario to approach this problem? I have Poweramp and that's the only music player which I'm using having a built-in EQ system for that app alone and it's working as intended most likely because it's not globally applying the EQ. Only issue is when it comes to system wide EQing for my headphones... Is it worth or not?

Broken bluetooth playback

For some reason this module breaks bluetooth playback on Pixel 7 Pro. Speaker and wired headphones work but not bluetooth. I've tried older versions as well as the newest one and all have this issue.

[BUG] Audio misc.settings simply broke my equalizer

When Audio misc.settings module is installed (even the latest version) when I click on equalizer the screen simply crashes.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'Open Fox's Mmm'
2. Click on 'Go to Online, select Audio misc.settings module'
3. Scroll down to 'Install and reboot'
4. Try to open Equalizer in Settings menu

Expected behavior
For sure it was working on a fresh image (without Magisk and FoxMmm installed)

[FEATURE REQUEST] High Performance Mode for Qualcomm Dacs

Hi,
I just wanted to run this by you since you seem to be more on top of Android audio then anyone these days and was wondering if you were aware of High Performance Mode in Qualcomm Dacs. What do you think of this:

Looking at the source code, the description "enable/disable class AB config for hph" definitely doesn't reveal much, so mysterious...

It looks like high performance mode enables these parameters:

WCD9XXX_CLSH_STATE_HPHR,
WCD9XXX_CLSH_REQ_ENABLE,
WCD9XXX_CLSH_EVENT_PRE_DAC)

I was hoping you may have some insight into what these parameters actually do, and what High Performance Mode actually does.

I'm also not sure if this works on newer phones, looking through newer phone source code I have yet to see "high_perf_mode" as an option in WCD9335+ phones. Still, Qualcomm says on their own website "High Performance Audio Playback" exists all the way up to the 9385.

Do you recommend this module for external USB DAC?

Bootloop on Android 14

The recent version of this module got me into a bootloop after installing.
Luckily I got out of it with some Safe Mode trick, but took me some hours to figure it out since there's no TWRP for my device.

My device: Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, Android 14, stock rom.
Latest magisk kitsune installed.

Equalizer app become incompatible or unusable with the module.

I tested this on Wavelet and neutralizer. Also generic volume booster app straight up crashes.

SBC Dual Channel not working

Hello! I have Pixel 6 with Derpfest ROM, I got Soundcore Life P3 earbuds which support only SBC+AAC. In theory module was successfully installed (i see increased volume steps etc) but SBC bitrate in logcat is still ~320kbps. How can I force it to work?

If the ROM needs to support it, do u maybe have the knowledge which ones support it for Android 12?

Youtube and volume buttons not working properly and music app crashing

Flashed this module on poco f3 using lineagos 20 android 13, as the title says youtube videos don't play and keep on restarting, when playing music through the default music app the music just does the same thing, plays then restarts after 1 or 2 seconds of playing the music and the volume button has a big delay when using it

Uninstall

After installing it, the phone equalizer won't work anymore (musicFX app).
How to uninstall it? I did but the number of steps in media volume to 100 steps is still there.
