Homing issue and microstepping

Hello,
i'm using the robin2 with tmc2208 drivers. For z-homing i want to use an inductive Probe. Right now the problem is with X and Y homed the printhead with probe is about 10mm off the printbed, the probe won't see the printbed.

Is there a section for the config file to define the homing coordinates ?

Second question, How do i enable Microstepping ? I have noticed the Jumpers under the stepper drivers but found no information what they are supposed to do.

Any Help appreciated

G28 out of Bed

Hi
I use firmware 1.0.3, 3dtouch is a MKS, TMC2209 is MKS.

When i activate autoleveling, 3dtouch, etc, G28 is out of bed (probe with nozzle, not 3dtouch).
If i pass G29 directly with terminal, it work.
Printing with manual leveling work perfectly too.

My config file :
robin2_cfg.txt

Possible to activate Z_safe_homing ? how ?

Thx

Hello,
Could you add the "machine setting" menu like in robin nano?

Problem Firmware Update

I have a mks robin2 v1.0 and wanted to install the latest firmware V1.0.3. Unfortunately that doesn't work, he loads the firmware, transfers the font and PIC files and then says "complete".
When I turn the board off and on again, the message booting comes up and nothing happens.
Have already tried the older versions of firmware V1.0.1 and V1.0.2, all with the same result.
What can I do now?

It is impossible to use its board, it has potential, but it remains to polish things

How can I fix this bug in Marlin bugfix-2.x.x?

There is also no pin reference so they PINs, be redirected for various uses.

MKS Robin 2 doesnt update firmware and doesnt work screen

İ connect my PC to MKS Robin 2 3d printer.i arrang eeeprom in repetier host program. After that i make change MKS Robin 2 config. And i install SD card MKS Robin 2. İ push the reset button.. than the screen and reset button doesnt work. i dosnt install New firmware SD card.the computer connect the card. What way Should i follow solve this problem

filament change position

I have an MKS Robin 2 with the current firmware version 1.03, if I go to filament change while printing is in progress, it moves to the point specified in the config and immediately back to the previous printing position. then when the print job is started again, it feeds matterial and starts. this always results in a blob of matterial where the nozzle then has to pass through and mess up the part.

so it is in the config

position of hotend for filament change and pause print

FILAMENT_CHANGE_X_POS 5 # X position of hotend for filament change and pause print
FILAMENT_CHANGE_Y_POS 5 # Y position of hotend for filament change and pause print
FILAMENT_CHANGE_Z_ADD 5 # Z addition of hotend (lift) for filament change and pause print

MKS robin 2 and MKS LV8729 noise issue

I have just setup a new MKS robin 2 running v1.0.3 firmware.
When the print is running, there seems to be a noticiable clicking/stutter sound coming from the x and y stepper motors. This is only noticable mainly when running curves/circles etc.
I have tried to run 1/128 steps and it worst. Im now running 1/32 steps and its still there.

Printing from SD Card.

Sounds like skipping steps. but its not actually skipping.

I should also note, this is running on a Corexy

Any idea?

Ive found a video that is doing the exact same thing as mine. Please help

Firmware source

Hello,

As you dont support Robin2 any more, would you mind to share firmware source?

No manual movement in robin2

Hello,

There's no reaction on manual controls. Homing works fine, fw 1.0.3. But when I try to control it manually, nothing happens.
