Requirements

• Java 8
• Latest version of Android SDK and Android Build Tools

API Key

The app uses themoviedb.org API to get movie information and posters. You must provide your own API key in order to build the app.

Just put your API key into ~/.gradle/gradle.properties file (create the file if it does not exist already):

MY_MOVIE_DB_API_KEY="abc123"

Building

You can build the app with Android Studio or with ./gradlew assembleDebug command.

Testing

This project integrates a combination of local unit tests, instrumented tests and code analysis tools.

Just run build.sh to ensure that project code is valid and stable. This will run local unit tests on the JVM, instrumented tests on connected device (or emulator) and analyse code with Checkstyle, Findbugs and PMD.

Setting button not works

F-Droid

Hi @maksim-m
Since the app is licensed under Apache License, can you consider adding this app to the F-Droid repository? (I don't know if you're using proprietary libraries, but it doesn't works with F-Droid)

Error: incompatible types: int cannot be converted to String

I was trying to get your code running but I keep encountering this error:

incompatible types: int cannot be converted to String

The error seems to be on the chain.request() call in AuthorizationInterceptor.

I upgraded okhttp3 to version 3.6.0. I also added my own API key in API_KEY_PARAM. Where do I go wrong? Thanks!

Signing issues with latest version

On the APK from the latest release apksigner throws an error:

ERROR: JAR signer CERT.RSA: JAR signature META-INF/CERT.SF indicates the APK is signed using APK Signature Scheme v2 but no such signature was found. Signature stripped?

This means two things: newer versions of fdroidserver (I have to upgrade mine soon as the version I run isn't supported by the latest Android clients) will reject the package – and devices running Nougat or above certainly will as well.

Could you please check and fix this? Thanks!
