mega-cube's Issues

Data wire

Hello, sorry for the ignorant question however here it is. Would it be okay to use 0.7mm wire as a data single wire? (I have a lot of 0.7mm wire)

demande

bonjour. est t il possible d avoir les quantité de PCB a fabriquer et si vous avez un lien éventuellement pour les commander et la liste des composent et matériel a commander que j essai de construire votre cube . un grand merci car il est cool

Animation demonstrations

Impressive and inspiring! If you can, could you please put up a short video demonstrating the recent additions of the game of life and rotating Mario? Would love to see the results of the work you're doing!

Components

Can you please give me the order links to everything thanks

License?

Hello, is there a license for the code, or can you please add one?

Great work by the way. Loved the visuals on YouTube.

WIO Terminal

Hello
what a great project
I am just about to build the whole thing together
but somehow I can't get the Wio Terminal to work. The terminal connects to the WiFi but the display only lights up gray

in the Serialmonito I could see the following:

Starting
Display is 320 x 240
Connecting to Wifi
Connected to ****
IP address: ..***.253
WiFi ready
Processing time 17

Could it be that the libraries have changed so that it no longer works?

Affiliate links

I understand you don't want to provide a kit (given the huge upfront investment in the items you'd have to make) but I'd still love to get a more detailed list of items since I am quite new to the hardware stuff. On AliExpress, for instance, there are a lot of results for "pl9823". Have you considered adding affiliate links to this repo (and your YouTube channel)? At ~$400 USD for just the lights you could make a killing since people would buy stuff to make for not just this but other projects they have in mind (AliExpress has an affiliate program that pays 9%). I'd certainly buy through your links since you've been kind enough to provide this repo and videos. You could also link to the power supplies, wire, acrylic (I'd even buy a pre-made acrylic box if you link to one), the filament used to make the 3d printed parts, etc.

EDIT: I think you should put all of this links in the README.md so it's easy for people to find. You can even include links for the soldering iron, mat, wire, solder, wire cutters/crimpers, your 3d printer, etc. that you use since I don't have a lot of that stuff. Even if I don't intend to build a massive cube for my first project this helps out a newb like myself on the tools to get.

Thanks!

LED Tower PCB

Hello!
I'm making the Mega Cube currently, and would love to see some photos of the underside of one of the 16 pcb's for the towers. In the video, you show the underside of a completed one but it doesn't appear to match the final design you settled on (which the wiring is shown as a drawing right after). I'm newer to the hardware/electrical side of things, so a photo showing how things were laid out and what wire was used in the final design would be much appreciated :)

If you're curious, I've made 2 ladders of led's and am starting 2 more now. Wanting to get the first pcb finished so I can hook it up and test the first tower!
