install and run NestJS basic new project

npm i -g @nestjs/cli nest new ignitelab-nestjs-prisma npm run start:dev

for use my project: clone this project with git clone and

npm i -g @nestjs/cli npm run start:dev http://localhost:3000/app/hello

install Prisma

npm i prisma -D npm i @prisma/client npx prisma init --datasource-provider sqlite npx prisma migrate dev (generate the schema and then enter a name: create notifications) npx prisma studio

warn if you already have a .gitignore file. Don't forget to add .env in it to not commit any private information.
Next steps:
1. Set the DATABASE_URL in the .env file to point to your existing database. note: If your database has no tables yet, read https://pris.ly/d/getting-started
1. Run prisma db pull to turn your database schema into a Prisma schema.
1. Run prisma generate to generate the Prisma Client. You can then start querying your database.
