There a bunch of environmental vars that could be very useful to users.

Personally I'd like to be able to set the messages as something like this:
Project:${GIT_URL}, Commit:${GIT_COMMIT} by ${GIT_AUTHOR_NAME}, Jenkins Job:${JOB_NAME} (Job Result), View:${BUILD_URL}

Option to truncate “Notification message includes” commit list

Thanks for this plugin, which has been very helpful once I got it working. Since I’m using it to notify our engineers about warnings, I need to keep my Slack messages short, and the “Notification message includes” commit list will often be too long. I’m instead using a custom message with ${GIT_COMMIT}, but that doesn’t include its title or author. I like the format of “commit list with authors and titles,” but need an option to list only the last commit or two.

This is what I am seeing in Slack using org.jenkins-ci.plugins:global-slack-notifier:1.3 ...

All builds have 0 ms reported.

We are using declarative pipelines and shared libraries on Jenkins ver. 2.89.2.
