Supported Boards

The firmware can be extended by adding new board files. Board files are used to define the pinout for a board.

Currently supported boards:

• FabScanPi HAT ( original FabScanPi )
• ZUM Arduino Shield ( used by cyclop 3D Scanner and clones )
• Sanguinololu ( 3D-Printer board )

turntable motor enabled on startup

I've had a few issues with the rPi2 software and was surprised, and almost burned, when I got back to the machine after an hour or so and found the turntable motor too hot to touch.

Seems like powering up and maybe a timeout should prevent the motors from being enabled for too long.

Add g-code option to set the stepper motor and/or board

A g-code command for setting the used motor driver and board would be fine.

Motor enable / disable is reversed on Sanguinololu

M17 and M18 work in opposite fashion and therefore when the firmware boots up the motor is on and gets hot after a long time sitting there. When the server software tried to do a preview and rotate the turntable, it effectively disables the motor so there is no turntable rotation.
