Guys, please support https://www.ruby-toolbox.com website. It's the best collections of tools for ruby/rails based on Github stars and last commit date.
Would be nice to have a section with application templates and builders. Ready to go or even to be deployed out of the box!
Perpetuity is a really cool ODM that follows the Data Mapper pattern laid out by Martin Fowler. It's highly active and well tested. Pull Request #313
A changelog section towards the top would be awesome.
Congrats on making top of the news on Ruby Weekly!
Put categories and projects in alphabetical order. What do you think?
Continuation of some thoughts in #60 (comment)
Summary: Move resources (links) to YAML (instead of Readme) with more metadata (fetch via apis: stars, last commit, downloads ...) and build the site via scripts. Still easy to contribute, powerful static site => better access/filter info. Just an idea to think about, any kind of suggestions are really welcome.

Cardmagic's Classifier gem has been basically dead for over a year, but the folks over at Jekyll have forked it, and have been actively maintaining, testing, and improving the gem. I made the switch in pull request (#311).
Looks like both awesome-ruby and awesome ruby are available for all the TLDs...

It's still hard to decide which gem to choose (from each category) by browsing the awesome ruby website. It would be nice to see the number of github stars next to the gem.
https://github.com/tokaido/tokaidoapp/releases is Ruby, Rails, SQLite and Redis encapsulated in a single drag-and-drop OS X app, designed to make installing a working RoR environment easy for beginners.
Funded through Kickstarter, and developed by Yehuda Katz.
Seems like it should be on the list, but wasn't sure what section.
Here is another implementation of Form/Service Objects (not sure in category)

In order to ensure higher quality of resources, could be a good idea to introduce some kind of simple voting system.
What do you think? We can add a VOTING.md file explaining the rules or just add a section into the CONTRIBUTING.md document.

How do you feel about moving this or have a maintained copy of this in an organization ?
I think it would be better to have them all in one organization.
As a recommendation we could use https://github.com/awesomeorg
Hi, first of can I say this is a very useful page.
One problem I have found with it is a lot of the gems on the list have very few download numbers, some even below a hundred. Although I don't want to discourage new gems, I often find gems with so few download numbers are either not properly maintained, or are not greatly peer reviewed.
Would it be a good idea to have a rough download count next to each one, or a tag for new gems?

Hello!
Can I make pull request for Assets with:
Obviously, I'm biased, but at 20m downloads and actively maintained since 2006, I think it's safe to say this one's mature and battle-tested.
Under the "Misc" section most likely. "Navigation" didn't seem right, and "HTTP" is all about clients.
Leaving this here as a placeholder, as an alternative to Liquid for a client facing template engine is welcome news, but it's a bit to fresh to add to Awesome Ruby just yet:

Add the Rapidfire gem: https://github.com/code-mancers/rapidfire in "Form Builder" section?
This gem is a simple and customizable way to make surveys and dynamic forms easy! ๐
Thanks!
I just created a repo, getAwesomeness. It gives developers an option to have a consolidated view on all of the awesome awesomeness. Please let me know if it helps or not.

Hi recently I wanted to find a library to create QR code, immediately awesome-ruby is the first repository I check in but, unfortunately there is no QR-code library and section to add below.
So could you create a section? and I'm happy to add "https://github.com/whomwah/rqrcode" under that...
I found the above repository actively developing and maintaining.
