nethserver-collabora's Issues

Improvements TLC_2021

The objective are:

  • Improve stability on updates in non interactive shells.
  • If the NS instance you install nethserver-collabora on has nethserver-nextcloud installed and is the DNS-server: it should work out-off the box on virtual/wopi host collabora.server-domain except for the certificate issue
  • If a loolwsd VirtualHost prop is set it respects this.
  • Redirect http > https on virtualhost except for acme http-01 challenge
  • If the virtual/wopi host does not have a valid cert and nethserver-nextcloud is installed on the same instance try to Disable certificate verification
  • Enable certificate verification on certifate-save event if the cert is valid.
  • Update documentation in README/documentation/wiki :
    • Reflect the changes made about what the package does.
    • Provide documentation to include exception in web-browser if cert is invalid.
    • Provide documentation to set AllowWopiHost if Nextcloud runs on an other instance.
  • Update CODE-brand, loolwsd, collaboraoffice6.x

Resolved: Unauthorized WOPI Host with external NextCloud after nethserver-collabora update

Error in Nextcloud:

Unauthorized WOPI Host

Resolution:

config setprop loolwsd AllowWopiHost nextcloud.my-domain.tld
signal-event nethserver-collabora-update

(Note: "nextcloud.my-domain.tld" resolves to my external nextcloud server)

Why I'm documenting this:

I've been successfully using nethserver-collabora with an external Nextcloud server since October 2019.

However, I had never set 'AllowWopiHost'
(even though the wiki page clearly says to set this value if nextcloud is on a different server, and has not been edited since before I installed nethserver-collabora...)

I suddenly started getting Unauthorized WOPI Host errors after updating to nethserver-collabora.noarch 0.1.2-1.ns7 on Feb 18 2021.

Setting AllowWopiHost as shown above solved the problem.

Thanks, by the way - I found setting up a neth server and installing nethserver-collabora to be the easiest and most maintanable solution for integrating collabora with Nextcloud...
