aauto-sdk's Issues

Allow building project as a dependency in Android Studio

Hi, i found out about this repo in your XDA dev thread, and i'd like to tinker with it. I think this project has a lot of potential, and i also have some ideas on how to enhance the Android Auto experience. However i am having some difficulties. Since the WAZE apk you bundled has some bugs, i need to use the new one - But i cant build it in Android Studio. Any idea what is wrong?

sdk

Also i'd like to know how i can use the local aauto-sdk with https://github.com/martoreto/aauto-sdk-demo instead of getting the version from the repo.

Thanks!

Document "Unknown sources" requirement

Hi,

first of all: Awesome project! Great work! Love to be able to use this!

I manage to port a car-related app I was writing to AAuto with this by basing of aauto-sdk-demo. However, it only seems to work when using the simulated headunit supplied with the Android SDK. When attaching to my car, it simply does not show up in the OEM menu.
Although it should only be relevant to vendor channel, I tried changing the package name to one that is allowed by my infotainment system, still no luck.

Any ideas what could be the reason why it works in developer mode with the simulator but refuses to show up in the car?

Thank you!
