Deepin Menu

Deepin Menu is the unified menu service for Deepin Desktop Environment.

Dependencies

Build dependencies

• Qt (>= 5.10)
• dtkwidget (>= 2.0.6)

Runtime dependencies

• DBus
• Qt5 (>= 5.10)

  • Qt5-Gui

Installation

Build from source code

1. Make sure you have installed all dependencies.

2. Build:

$ cd deepin-menu
$ mkdir build
$ cd build
$ qmake ..
$ make

3. Install:

$ sudo make install

Usage

Run the binary, the two DBus interfaces com.deepin.Menu.Manager and com.deepin.Menu it provides should be sufficient to explain itself. More details on the data structure it uses needs to be done.

Connect to DBus

Hello, I'm looking for how to use it... Can you do a little tutorial for me on how to do an interface to access it, register, access menu, get json data that we need to use trough dbus? and can you change object name by something more simple: the PID, if you use it, we can get focused window's PID and get it's menu... Can you help me so?

[Arch] Menu on the desktop is no longer round-cornered after recent updates

In other places, like in dde-file-manager, the problem is not present, though.

Issue on ubuntu 19

qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "dxcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: dxcb, eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, vnc, wayland-egl, wayland, wayland-xcomposite-egl, wayland-xcomposite-glx, xcb.
