Overview

AI Treasure Hunt is a 2D top-down game developed as part of the GAME 307 AI course assignment. The game features a player-controlled character navigating a small map to collect treasures while avoiding an AI-controlled enemy. The AI utilizes basic Steering, Pathfinding, and Decision-Making algorithms.

Engine

The game is developed using the Godot engine. Godot is chosen for its user-friendly interface and extensive documentation, making it ideal for learning and implementing AI algorithms.

Team

• Dor Zairi: Sole Developer responsible for all aspects of the game, including AI, game logic, UI, and sound.

Learning Outcomes

• Implement a basic Steering algorithm for the AI enemy.
• Develop a simple Pathfinding algorithm for AI navigation.
• Utilize a Decision-Making algorithm for AI behavior.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository

   git clone https://github.com/MashdorDev/AI-Treasure-Hunt.git
   

2. Open the project in Godot
3. Run the game from the Godot editor
