Ledger and Entries

Ledgers are a list of Entries. You can't delete an Entry of a Ledger.

There are only two types of Entries: IN and OUT

Each Entry has its amount that must be the atomic form of the Ledger's currency and a short description telling about the motive.

Ledgers can get the total balance, grouping entries by type and adding their amounts. The balance never must be negative.

User creation and token generation

A simple way to create a new user from their email. OpenID Connect seems to be a good tool to use.

Possible flow:

• User enters the app.
• Checks for token.

If it has a valid token redirect user to home (refresh token if needed).

User has invalid token:

• Show an input asking for an email
• Generate a token for that email
• Send an email with a link for login with the generated token
• If the email didn't exist in our store, save it

Account

To use the app we had to have at least one account.

Accounts have their own currency and could have an alias that makes it easier to distinguish between them.

An account has its own Ledger. Only one Ledger is allowed by account.
