max480-random-stuff website, JS edition

This is the source code for the former website max480-random-stuff.herokuapp.com.

⚠️ This website was shut down as Heroku has discontinued free plans. All of its features were migrated to max480-random-stuff.appspot.com. The Vue.js frontend is served as static files on that website, and the Express backend was removed entirely (more details below).

This was a separate website from max480-random-stuff.appspot.com just because I wanted to try new things. 😅 This one used Express for the backend, Vue.js for the frontend.

Two services were present there:

• Banana Mirror Browser, a website that can substitute to the GameBanana Celeste section if it is down. Files and images are hosted on 0x0ade's server. Mod info and files on this server are kept up-to-date by the Everest update checker.
  • This service is now present here. Instead of the Express backend, it now uses the mod list/search APIs provided on the appspot website, which are also used by Olympus. This allowed to add category filter and sorting options!
• Wipe Converter, a service to turn custom Celeste screen wipes into a format the game can use (with the max480's Helping Hand mod).
  • This service is now present here. The wipe converting process was moved... to the frontend, using web workers. Your wipes now never leave your PC!
