My Read book readers App

This repo is a code-along with the first project in the React Nanodegree program.

Most of the commits in this repository correspond to videos in the program.

Project Setup

  • Clone the project - git clone https://github.com/udacity/reactnd-contacts-complete.git
  • Install the dependencies - npm install

Backend Server

The backend server for this in-class project can be found here.

Contributing

The main task of this React project are the following:

1.  Display books on the main page based on three categories or shelves. namely, Currently Reading, Want to Read and Read.
2.  Users can move books betwen shelves.
3.  Users can search from the library for book(s) he/she wants to move to the shelves.
4.  Once selected from library it is automatically displayed in the main UI without the need for refresh.

1. Getting Started

These instructions cover the setup and installation on your local machine for developing and testing purposes.

1.1. how to run app

  • install all project dependencies with npm install
  • start the development server with npm start
