Force close on android 8

Hello, I recently updated my device on a aosp rom based on Android 8.0 and I noticed that the app force close shortly after its opening.

[FR] Allow to only enable OR disable airplane mode

Hi,

I usually turn airplane mode on manually when going to bed (which can happen at various times), but I need the airplane mode to be turned off at 08:00 (in case I oversleep and someone needs to contact me…).

AutoAirplaneMode (AAM) is almost perfect for that, except that it forces me to select a turn-on time, whereas all I need is turn-off time.

So far, my workaround is to set airplane mode on at 07:59 and off at 08:00, but there could be a more elegant way. :-)

Option to turn on airplane mode from sunset to sunrise

I would like to suggest adding an option to turn on airplane mode from sunset to sunrise (with adjustable offset) to match circadian rhythm.

Option to enable wifi

Could we also get an option to enable wifi when airplane mode is turned off?

Because usually I want my first synchronisation there to use wifi and not mobile data. So this app should (configurable) instantly enable WLAN when the airplane mode is turned off.

Allow different times depending on day of week

I would love to be able to set different times for Sat and Sun than for Mon-Fri. UI-wise, it would necessitate a bigger change unfortunately: you would need to make a list of times to/from which you could add/remove entries.

In the olden days, I used to have ProfileMatic which could do a ton more than just airplane mode and which spoiled me tremendously (also, it was pretty crazy). Alas, I have since switched (back) from Meego to Android and really, airplane mode was the only feature I actually cared for. Screenshots 1 and Screenshots 2.

Periodically enable and disable airplane mode for power saving

I'm searching for an application that can toggle airplane mode for power saving in the F-Droid repository for a long time but i can't find an application like this in the F-Droid repo. Maybe you could implement a feature that toggle airplanemode on for (for example) 2 minutes each 15 minutes to do that. There is already the app BatteryFu, but that only toggle mobile internet and don't en- and disable SMS also, so changing the airplane mode would lead to a even better effect.

Turn on Airplane mode upon connection to a WiFi network

Rather than having a strict time schedule, once issue #6 is resolved (leaving WiFi enabled) it would be great to have AirplaneMode turn on (with exception of WiFi) once connected to a WiFi network, and then disabled once a WiFi connection is no longer available.

I use purely data for communication and the cell radio is only useful while not on WiFi. I currently turn on Airplane mode, then turn WiFi back on when around a known network, then turn off Airplane mode when travelling. This extends the battery life of my device significantly (from 1 day to 2.5 days), but requires manual tinkering.

The current time schedule may work for some of it, such as pre-scheduled commuting times, but it would be great to be able to have it handled all of the time automatically.
