Extend Your Lumix Camera's Abilities

Goals

This app aims at using wifi control to add features to a Lumix camera. Such features would be:

• motion detection (implemented)
• focus bracketing (not implemented yet)
• scripting (not implemented yet)

Use

Connect your phone to the wifi of your camera and disable the mobile data. Start the app. If nothing appears, go to the settings and change the ip value to the one of your camera.

When in motion detection activity, the parameters values are changed on the fly (no need to restart motion detection if it is already started). Please note that you can do something else on your phone while motion detection is activated, but don't forget to stop it afterwards ;-)

Camera support

I can only test the app on the FZ1000, but it should work with most of Lumix cameras.

Building fails

Building fails for me. Most likely the error gets silently ignored when you are running AndroidStudio.

   Explanation for issues of type "WrongCall":
   Custom views typically need to call measure() on their children, not
   onMeasure. Ditto for onDraw, onLayout, etc.

DMC-FZ300 require app update

Same as #4 , it requires an app update and show Panasonic official app icon.

Focus bracketing / Post-Focus

Hi,

does anybody know if the FZ1000 is able to change the focus while recording a 4K-Video.
If yes, how hard would it be to implement this to have a Post-Focus feature for the FZ1000.

How to get capture to work manually?

I found this app and was interested in porting it to desktop. So i can switch to record mode, but when I execute capture, it sends back ok xml, but the cam does not take a picture! Any ideas why?

Can you make the app follow material.io?

DMC-TZ70 require app update

After connecting to WiFi of DMC-TZ70 camera suggest update of application before connecting.

Hi! The app support the encryption?? And, if not, is possible implement it for protect the privacy??
