homebrew-zulu's Issues

JAVA_HOME

This might be a dumb question, but does this install to the typical java location so that JAVA_HOME is set automatically, or are there any instructions on how to set java_home when installing from homebrew-zulu?

`JAVA_HOME` value?

Hi, I am using the zulu-jdk8 cask on my M1 Mac. After I install I am able to see that this version is being used with java -version but I am not sure what the value for the JAVA_HOME variable should be. I am not seeing anything in the locations of similar installs like OpenJDK8. Would you be able to advise me on what the JAVA_HOME value should be when using these packages? Thank you.

brew cask installation error

Hi,

if I want to brew install zulu java, there comes following error message:

Bildschirmfoto 2020-12-21 um 13 45 24

...but Cask is already successfully installed:
Bildschirmfoto 2020-12-21 um 13 43 40

I also reinstalled cask.

Does anyone know what I can do?
My user has the rights to install it. Su is not allowed from brew.

Ability to install specific builds of a JDK?

I was wondering whether it's possible to extend these casks to allow users to install a specific of JDKs?

I've had a few instances where I've ran into bugs on the latest JDK build where the only build is to downgrade to a previous build until the issue is fixed on the latest release. It would be nice to be able to install older versions through brew (e.g. [email protected]) instead of having to manually install the version through the dmg.

Example Issue which requires downgrading
