The tool used to randomize the game is being flagged by 5 engines virustotal say that the tool is a trojan downloader, it is also flagged by windows smartscreen and chrome was blocking the file when downloaded I understand that its false positive because its open source but is there any sort of way that you can get rid of them? i dont know how coding works but it seems like something that would be useful. And do you know what part of the tool is getting flagged as a virus?
I want to merge the Graphics Pack created from the Randomizer with some other mods. But i get the Error "NoneType object is not scriptable"
Ok so things like pepper bushes, enemy camps, hell even random rocks will just sometimes take a while to load in, to the point where I can't move Link for about 30 seconds, is this an issue with the randomizer or is my emulator just not optimized enough? I followed all the proper guides, so I guess it could also be my computer.
after loading up the game and playing. i do not get the camera rune, however when i watched linkus7's video he got the camera rune right when he walked out of the shrine of resurrection i do not know how to reproduce and dont know how to fix this.
Ok so this may already be known but it seems that when entering certain shrines the loading screen just stops loading but the game is still unfrozen, I can reload tips, and it seems certain shrines are hard locked like this, making some shrines un-enterable.
Not really an issue since it seems to be working for me.
This is more of a Guide how i did it.
I just zipped the Files generated by the executable and then installed them with BCML instead of directly activating them with Cemu.
Haven't run into any problems as of yet.
So as the title implies I'm simply curious can I run this randomizer on a modded switch with a botw cartridge?
Game and enemies move at normal speed but Link doesn't run at full speed. Adjusting input settings does nothing
I got a ton of bugs when playing the game on the latest stable cemu version such as:
-Infinite tutorial popups for weapons, ect
-the old man being completely gone
-intro cutscene after leaving the first shrine can be triggered infinetly
If the user's path for the "Cemu Graphic Pack Folder" includes the character "-" and they attempt to randomize a game, the "BOTW Randomizer Tool" will attempt to generate a game but will crash on the "Randomizing Overworld" step.

I make the graphic pack, I enable it before opening the game, and it just never works. Starting a new save file will cause it to stop at a white screen after Zelda says "Open your eyes." I tried starting a save without the mod and it worked fine. I loaded the save with the graphics pack enabled, and it stops loading at half of the progress bar.

IDEAS:
It is possible to exploit getting infinite items by repeatedly saving and reloading a savefile next to a group of enemies randomized by this mod without the need for a Blood Moon to occur.
When getting a second weapon, the change weapons window pops up, and it keeps popping up. And it keeps popping up forever. If you pause in between the one frame of a chance you have, it only stops if you drop the weapon. Even reloading or changing weapons doesn't work. And I think its the same for every tooltip.
I can not figure out how to set this up. Thers no tutorial anywhere to help me either. Im so cunfused
Ok so I just talked to impa, went to haterno, did that quest, came back, and she told me to go back to haterno, wtf? No second quest for the champions tunic, what's up with that?
Hey! I’m a huge fan of this project and while I don’t really know any coding I’d love to contribute through just an idea for the next update. Would it be possible to have the option to randomize the music and sound effects? I think this could lead to tons of funny moments, like a guardians laser beam sound being replaced by Beedle’s laugh, or the Thunderblight Ganon theme being replaced by the stable music.

ok so, when i run the program, it says, "To install this randomizer, you must install the missing frameworks"
and i already installed them and it wont let me run the program

Maybe i'm just impatient however just wondering if anyone is still working on this mod?
Maybe the wrong place to ask that however there are still alot of bugs which make it not as fun to play so would be nice to see some fixes and new stuff :)
Some issues are not even reacted to yet so just wondering.
I just got the Master Sword but noticed the Trial of the Sword DLC quest didn't show up. Also, the game seems to think I never did the first quest on the Great Plateau even though I got the paraglider.
Hello! First thanks for this tool!
I am not sure if porting it to GNU/linux is on the roadmap but I couldn't make it work on arch linux.
I'm using LUTRIS, and tried several runners (staging, lutris, tkg etc). It launches with lutris 6.0, but crashes midway through randomizing. Gives a corrupt graphic packs that allowed for starting the game but prevented me from using the very first pedestal in the starting cave (pressed A as requested by the prompt, where the tablet normally fits).
Is there any plan on supporting a linux version of the randomizer? Or at least provide build sources to allow us to compile on linux ? :)

I know this is probably gonna be something implemented down the line, but being able to randomize only enemies, or only items, or only specific item pools would be great. This would also allow for options like randomizing the camp kill chests, and also for some chaos options such as randomizing koroks or randomizing the runes to be in random places (but not the paraglider for obvious reasons, until a way to remove the paraglider barrier is found via mods, unless that can already be done in which case why hasn't it been created yet).

The tooltip for throwing weapons is not going away and the same thing happened for the switch weapons tooltip
Ok so I've played this for about 8 hours today, and one thing I noticed was that Helmets, torsos, and pants only came from "clothing chests" instead of any chest. Is this intentional or a bug?
I know, this is an issue with the game and not the randomizer, but it's still an issue and could (probably) be fixed by changing the hitbox.
