SUMMARY

    Mifos Helper is a GUI tool to aid in managing Mifos. For instance,
    it will help you verify your database connection works.

PREREQUISITES

    (a) Java 6
    (b) Maven
    (c) gettext-commons
    (d) maven-gettext-plugin
    (e) GNU gettext

    For (c) and (d), cd into the "contrib" dir and type "make".

    On Ubuntu, "sudo apt-get install gettext" satisfies (e).

USAGE

    Build:

        mvn clean compile gettext:dist install

    Run:

        Easiest is via Eclipse. Run MyGUI as a Java application.

INTERNATIONALIZATION / LOCALIZATION

    maven-gettext-plugin and gettext-commons help with i18n.

    Scour source for messages. Add new and delete removed ones from the
    source translation file (src/main/po/keys.pot):

        mvn gettext:gettext

    Update translations (src/main/po/*.po):

        mvn gettext:msgmerge

    Generate binary translations:

        mvn gettext:dist

    Generate report on L10n:

        mvn gettext:report
