remaPSV2 v.2.0.2

remaPSV2 is an updated version of Rinnegatamante's remaPSV (which takes the name from the glorious remaPSP included in cwCheat for PSP).

Functionality

Installation

  • Copy remaPSV2.suprx and ioplus.skprx to ur0:/tai folder
  • Add remaPSV2.suprx into your ur0:/tai/config.txt file (under *ALL or whatever game you want to use it).
  • Add ioplus.skprx into your taiHen config file (under *KERNEL)
  • To bring the config menu, press START + Square in game.

Usage

  • When in-game, press (start) + (square) to bring up plugin menu

FAQ

  • How to open plugin menu ?
    • Press (start) + (square) whin in-game
  • What can you do with gyro ?
    • You can remap gyro direction (up, down, left, right) to right stick directions to enable gyro aim in any game.
  • How do I map combo of buttons ?
    • Combo mappings are not supported
  • Is it possible to remap PS4Link keys
  • Is there a way to turn it on and off? Or does it save presets on a game by game basis?
    • ATM, no
  • Is there any way to have this work on the save screen/system apps/livearea ?
    • ATM, no
  • What is deadband under gyro menu ?
    • Deadband limits gyroscope sensivity, so smallest movements are ignored to handle shaking hands, and it is enabled by default in most vita games. Disabling it will higly increase sensivity of gyroscope.

Known issues

  • Menu not opening in Adrenaline, PS4link and some homebrew.

    • Solution: To use plugin for such apps, you can follow those steps
      1. Open any game/app where plugin menu is working
      2. Configure everything as of doing it for desired app with menu not working.
      3. Go to settings -> save as Global config
      4. Open you desired app -> it should already be using global config and you remaps should be working
      5. Press (START) + (TRIANGLE) to save your global profile as current running game profile.
  • Unresponsive black screen after going out of sleep mode.

    • Solution: Should be fixed in 2.0.1 version.
  • Screen blinking in Jak and Daxter.

    • Solution: restart an app.

There is still some input delay.

I still cannot use the analog sticks to play the scratch notes. I hope touch screen flick feature will be implemented some day.

SD2Vita

Is it possible to make it so the config part of this plugins works on SD2Vita?

Touch remaps force combos in PS4 Link

If I remap rear or front touch, in PS4 Link it triggers both buttons: the one foreseen by the app and the remapped one. Or is it because of circular reference?
My remaps are as follows:
L1 -> LT/L2
R1 -> RT/R2
Rear Touch TopLeft -> L1
Rear Touch TopRight -> R1

When in-game with PS4 Link, e.g. Rear Touch TopLeft triggers L1 but as well LT/L2 at the same time when touched.

Switch to kernel plugin

Would allow to draw plugin menu everywhere
Would add LiveArea and system apps support
Would add ability to remap system keys (VOLUME, HOME, POWER)
Would (pbly) solve memory issues when many plugins are loaded

Problem with controlls at DBZ

I realized theres a problem with the controlls on a specific game. This game is Dragon Ball Z battle of the gods. At the menu of the game its like its doing one extra movement for example u press right (with analog or dpad) it like its doing double right. Not all the time but very often. same for all directions. But this is only happening at the menus. Uninstalling the plugin and everything was working correct.installed it and same issue was happening.

Diagonals on left analog are ignored and do not function when this plugin is enabled. ( many different tests performed and with original settings )
This is the only game I’ve found with this issue so far.

Gyro sensitivity setting seems to have no effect

Background: Borderlands 2 (PCSE00383) has gyro aiming when aiming down the weapon's iron sights/scope. However, I feel that the gyro is too sensitive, so I wanted to use this plugin to change it.

Issue: Changing the sensitivity with the plugin had no effect on the gyro aiming whatsoever.

Testing Method: Gyro sensitivity is tested by having the Vita face up, then tilting it (approx.) 45 degrees to the left, tilting it 90 degrees to the right, so it's angled 45 degrees to the right, then tilting left 45 degrees, back to the face up position.
