Installation

We publish a stable Release of metasfresh every Friday - ok, we skip 1 week at the end of the year ;-) . You can download it here.

metasfresh can be installed via Docker or Ubuntu Installer.

"Monorepo"

To check out only certain parts of this repository, we recommend getting git version 2.25.0 or later and use the git-sparse-checkout feature. Examples:

• to get started, do git sparse-checkout init --clone
  • this will leave you with just the files in the repo's root folder, such as the file you are reading
• to get the frontend code, do git sparse-checkout set frontend
• to go back to having everything checked out, do git sparse-checkout disable

use env variables for elastic logstash index size and rollover policies

In order to use environment variables in our docker-compose files to define:

• Index-Size (max_size)
• Index-Age (max_age)
• Delete-Age (min_age)

add vagrantfile for developers

Goal: every developer should be able to spin up a local virtual machine with metasfresh infrastructure components

The first iteration contains

• ubuntu-16.04 with docker
• metasfresh-admin
• an ELK stack

extend metasfresh-eclipse-config repo to generally contain dev resources

..to prepare that we could also add the vagrantfiles and stuff here

Don't forget to search&replace in metasfresh-documentation

enable docker remote API

with the docker remote API enabled, i can use the docker-tooling plugin (on my windows 7)
to connect to the vagrant box and manage it's docker daemon
