mojo-is-awesome's Issues

Missing Sections in Contributing.md

Hello @mfranzon, just wanted to let you know that the links to some sections in the CONTRIBUTING.md file -- specifically in the Table of Contents don't seem to work because the sections are not available:
missingsectionsmojo

This missing sections are:

  • Your First Code Contribution
  • Improving The Documentation
  • Styleguides
  • Commit Messages
  • Join The Project Team

Adding these sections would be helpful for contributors. Thank you!

Add Mendelbrot benchmark

Add the Mendelbrot test for mojo vs python.

  • Here you can find all the code you have to test on your local machine.

  • Then make a plot to show the different performances between the two languages. (follow the matmul example to have an idea of the benchmark organisation)

Add new resources

This should be a long time issue, so feel free to open new MRs even if this issues won't be closed.

PRs/MRs will be valid for hacktoberfest.

Adding icons in Readme headings

Hi @mfranzon, let's make the Readme file attractive by adding some emojis.
I would love to do that. Kindly assign this to me under hacktoberfest
Just like this:

Thankyou and have a nice day!

Add a new benchmark

Propose a possible benchmark that can be useful to understand better the differences between the two languages (Python vs Mojo).
