I had a similar issue, it was fixed on my end by re-enabling the Enhanced search in the windows settings. A recent Windows 10 update must've disabled that setting, which basically hamstrung power toys run.
To change that option, you need to navigate to your settings panel, select the Search menu and then switch to the Searching Windows tab. Under the title "Find My Files" check if Classic is enabled instead of Enhanced (or at least use Customize Search locations if you wish to keep Classic)
