Overview

In this project I tried to create a gallery page which shows images and on hovering over them it shows the image number and image becomes colorful from black and white. This project uses the grid layout module to place images on the page. This projects is made to practice some useful and important CSS properties like filter property and it's values such as greyscale , drop-shadow, blur etc. and also the CSS pseudo-classes.

Also got my hands on the transition CSS property , all it's values such as delay, transition name etc. Used linear-gradient to give a slight black-tint at the bottom of the image whenever it is hovered.

This project is responsive to different screen sizes.

My Learnings

In this project I learned and practiced about pseudo classes in CSS such as hover , visited etc.
Also used and practiced filter css property.
Became comfortable with the transition CSS property and linear-gradient and different ways in which it can be used.
Moreover, learned some additional grid properties like place items.
