Is this going to return?

I noticed that the page was completely wiped since September.

Are there any chances of it returning?

BBC Documentaries feed is slow and frequently refuses to respond.

I have a RSS setup on my server which pings members about new BBC programming, however Documentaries is one of these feeds which refuses to work half the time. Are there any fixes planned in the future to prevent the slow halts?

Some items in feeds have an empty pubDate

eg https://bbc-rss.herokuapp.com/rss/custom/ancient%20greece.rss has an "Ancient Roman Music" (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03cg38x) with an empty pubDate. Maybe this is because it's really old and the BBC's source data is incomplete, or because it's WOrld Service. Anyway, if the data really isn't available it would probably make sense to fill it in with a default, either Way Back When, or the current time.

Use template-literal instead of EJS

Template Literal is fastest, smallest and simplest template engine, because it use JS's literal template feature.

It's 55 times faster than EJS, and it also use less CPU and RAM ressources, so it may be a good idea to use it instead of EJS 😀

All the feeds are empty.

Heroku bbc-rss app is down

It looks like all pages of bbc-rss on the Heroku platform result in an "Application Error".

Feed request: Audio Described / Signed categories

Is there a possibility of supporting the Audio Described and Signed categories of BBC iPlayer? These are accessible alternative formats for the blind/visually impaired and deaf/hard of hearing populations. I'm not sure how technically feasible this is, but figure I'd put in a feature request just in case it is doable.

Add ability to have brand or series PID feeds for individual programmes

There are approximately 12,500 brands and 28,250 series on Nitro.
