Prompt token gated content based on NFT holding

Description:

Content creators and brands are adding more utility to their tokens by gating access to digital services: gated features on websites, videos, documents, merchandise, or drops.

MintGate enables creators and communities to create videos and web links gated by NFTs minted on MintGate and on any NFT platform. Enabling fans to quickly discover token gated content that they have access to allows for greater community engagement.

You must create an account on mintgate.app and go to Settings - Integrations to receive your API key. You will primarily use MintGate Links by Token API to create a UI that prompts all MintGate token gated content that a user has access to based on their NFT ownership.

Prize: All projects that building this will equally get paid out $750 in USDC

Submission requirements:

Your submission should be a separate UI that requires a user to connect their wallet and then will show all of the MintGate token gated links that they have access to.

You are encouraged to support your submission with a video explanation.

In addition:

• The submission must be released under a GPLv3 compatible license
• Participants from everywhere can participate in this bounty
• You can submit individually, or as a team. The bounty can be distributed evenly amongst team members.

Judging Criteria:

• Execution: Does everything appear to work? Does the app return the correct token gated content?
• Design: Is the user experience smooth? Do the token gated links show up in a well-designed, coherent way?
• Bonus Points: Integration of other MintGate APIs on the discovery page

Wordpress/WebFlow/other CMS gating integration

Bounty: Wordpress/WebFlow/VR gating integration using API

Description:
As more users get into tokens, they need an easy way to gate access to content on Wordpress, other CMS platforms, or even in games. The challenge is to use MintGate’s token validation API to unlock access to CMS pages or content modules based on token ownership.

Prize: $700 (top winner)

Submission requirements:

Your submission should be a CMS plugin/widget that requires a user to connect their wallet before showing the content/text on the CMS page.

• API spec docs and testing
• API for checking MintGate NFT ownership

Judging Criteria

• Execution: The plugin/module should showcase gating access to content on a CMS using MintGate’s API if the user owns the appropriate token.
• Design: Is the user experience simple to connect their wallet to view the content?
• Bonus Points: Create an open-source JavaScript library for token validation that is used within the plugin for wallet connection and verification.

Develop whitelabel sites for Aragon DAOs

Description:
Aragon is a powerful tool for creating DAOs. Use MintGate custom domains to create your own NFT portal to sell NFTs for your DAO.

Prize: $2000 (split among all qualified projects that submitted to the bounty)

Submission requirements:

1. Create a new DAO using the Aragon Client.
2. After the creation of the DAO, create an NFT storefront using the no-code MintGate white label feature.
3. Add at least seven (7) NFTs with unlockable content to any DAO resources such as DAO whitepaper, membership application, community call recordings, and more. We'll leave you to your imagination on how you envision a tokenized content storefront of a DAO should look!

You must create the storefront using the MintGate white label feature. Learn how to get set up here.

Submit the repo with the Aragon DAO and a link to the MintGate whitelabel with an explanation of the NFTs and what you token gated the NFTs with. We encourage you to submit a video to explain but a video is not required.

Judging Criteria

• Execution: Did you create a DAO with the Aragon Client and an NFT storefront with MintGate? Did you create at least seven (7) NFTs with unlockable content on the whitelabel?
• Design: Is the user experience simple? How visually appealing did you create the whitelabel? Did you take advantage of custom branding/colors/themes and a full set of MintGate themes as well?
• Bonus Points: Did you come up with creative use cases for your storefront? Did you come up with a creative use case for unlockable content?
