Friendly remainder

  1. Find whether this is needed (the remainder of the pull is alright) [prolly aren't, don't seem to have negative impact though]

And intriguingly, there are functions in the windows 8 sdk that still supports windows 2000.
Albeit of course officially you can't use _xp toolset with the former.
