Entities glitch through nodes

Quite often entities will glitch into, and/or through nodes.

[Bug] Tree logs (not the small ones) are consumed when placed in creative mode

As the title says, tree logs are consumed when placed if you don't tick the creative mode box before opening the world.
It appears to only happen to the full node sized logs, nothing else.
