Preview image inline in README

"e" and "A" crossbars are subtracting

Whenever a pdf is generated in InDesign, the space where the crossbars of the A and e overlap is removed.

Pass fontbakery

It would be good to confirm that this project passes fontbakery checks; you can use a drag and drop service from www.fontbakery.com right now, or set it up on your own machine and run it in Terminal.

Merge FONTLOG into README and remove

I think the FONTLOG recommendation in the OFL FAQ is good, but a little old school - nowadays README.md files are wide spread and on Github are rendered inline on folder pages, including the /README.md on the https://github.com/mjlagattuta/Hepta-Slab homepage; so I think its better to have all that "FONTLOG" info in the readme :)

Folder cleanup

• You have two folders, /docs and /documentation (with images inside). I suggest moving the /documentation/images folder to /docs/images and then the documentation folder will automatically be removed from git; you might need to delete it locally

• You also have /proofs and /tools and I suggest moving them inside /sources/ too

Add .travis.yml that builds fonts on checkin to master and pushed them to gh-pages branch

Might be interesting for you to look at https://docs.travis-ci.com/user/deployment/pages/ and see about continuous integration and "agile" methodologies

Build with fontmake

While #1 can be postponed, I'm filing this issue to call out one of the key steps along the way to that - building the project successfully with http://github.com/googlei18n/fontmake/ :)

Ideally this can be scripted with a /sources/build.py (or even a build.sh given that it can be a one-shot command line :)

However, fontmake is still somewhat basic and doesn't support the export filters that GlyphsApp itself does, so if you use those, then we'll have to postpone this... But it will make @m4rc1e happy -- beyond this project passing fontbakery checks, which I'll file separately now :)

Error in form of '0' with variable weights 1-86

When Hepta Slab is used as a variable font with the weight axis set to low numbers (1-86) in Adobe Illustrator 25.1, there appears to be a mistake in the form of the 0 character.

It is visible up to weight 86, at 87 it switches to the proper form.

Issues blocking publication

• the GF eng team couldn't push because of OTS failure, and

• the OS/2 weight class 200 doesn't match with the given weight 400 in METADATA.pb, and isn't a weight < 250.

Cyrillic glyphs

Wow, marvelous slab serif. But without Cyrillic

Italics

Feature req: Lubalin Graph!

This font is 95% of the way to an open-source variable alternative to ITC Lubalin Graph. All you'd need would be a variable for the tapering of the ends before the serifs on curved characters like C, G, S, and the angling of the hook on the G. Adjustable serif lengths would be cool too.
