Goal

Relations enables writers to keep their train of thought while simultaneously building a complex world by quickly creating connections to people, places, and things as you type.

relations's Issues

Add user expected functionality to Searchbar

• Allow use of arrow keys to select suggestions
• Allow enter to navigate to current selection
• Remove text on navigation change

Maybe

• Add thing from searchbar directly, similar to a mention dropdown

Update Relation queries on summary changes

Either update a relation in the cache or refetch related queries.

Refactor Sticky Inline code

Possibly fork or submit pull requests for slate-sticky-inline

Issues

• Can not disable functionality for certain nodes
• Editor produces error when using arrow keys though left/front of the inline
• Issues with value.focusInline while still in bounds of a sticky inline

Styling

• Make it obvious where text is editable inline
• Clear separation of different information like summary vs mentions
• Update active-mention and mention styling in Editor

Make tooltip function similar to wikipedia functionality

• Update tooltip to only go to depth of one by changing the renderNode for a Mention in a ReadOnly Editor.
• Delay tooltip from showing instantly on hover
• Only grab first line/block of summary to display in tooltip on hover

Add support to rename a Thing
