PDF support (exploratory)

It would be really cool and useful to support this extension with PDFs.

I'm not sure if Chrome Extensions can the content on PDFs loaded in Chrome, will need to investigate whether this is possible first.

Extension icon isn't visible in dark browser theme

It seems like it will be pretty straightforward to use this extension on Firefox, we'll just need to test / verify it.

Safari extension

It would be nice if you made a Safari extension. Since starting with version 14, support for the WebExtensions API has appeared. And from version 15 there will be support for Safari for iOS. More details: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/safariservices/safari_web_extensions

Dark theme

Please add a dark theme. And make the default sync of the extension theme with the system theme. More details: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/@media/prefers-color-scheme

Provide a link to an uploaded version of the extension

Hey, this is a really great idea, thanks for working on it and sharing it!

It'd be great to have a link in the README to an already uploaded version of the extension, so there's an easy way to try it out without building and loading it yourself. (Especially since the build process doesn't work out of the box without installing a few dependencies.)

Sorry I'm new to extension building. I think this is referenced in the webserver.js. Any guidance?

Create an initial test suite

This extension has absolutely no test coverage currently, which makes me very sad :(

This issue will probably involve some exploratory work of researching how other OSS chrome extensions do testing. https://jasmine.github.io/ seems like a decent place to start.
