Lesnik known from the 90s and early 2000s as the creator of chiptune music,
will perform with a live act presenting his contemporary work: emotional,
nostalgic drum and bass with a lot of atmospheric melodies.

footage recorded by Jacku, mixed live.

Hailing from the house metropolis of Hamburg, skomp plays the kind of tech house that's sure to get you stepping, with occasional forays into pure, unadulterated, out-and-out techno. More often found deep in GLSL and C#, skomp can also be found rocking shows as diverse as UK demoparties and hometown Hamburg club nights.

CMD
CMD was a musician on PC demoscene active in mid-late 90s/early 2000s under a moniker KeyG. During the years KeyG was a member of groups Pulse, Digisonix and many others. In years 1997-2004 together with three other demoscene musicians he formed the band "Aural Planet" which release several full albums.
For over three years now he lives and works in Berlin, where some years ago the project CMD was started. The idea was to regularly publish songs which oscillate between chiptune sounds and modern electronic music. These songs are now being reworked to a full album which will be performed live at Deadline 2017.

How to get your ticket?
There are several options on how to get your ticket:

- Buy it at the door
All tickets can by bought at the door, so far we always had enough space for everybody who showed up.
Du to paypal fees day-tickets can be only bought at the door.

- Get it now! (recommended)
The pre-sale has started! Buying your ticket beforehands will help us being more fluid beforehands (since the festival is non-profit) and better plan ahead how many people will show up, how many T-Shirts have to be bought etc.
If you buy a ticket before but can't come we of course will refund you.

The regular ticket is for all who like to visit and enjoy the party in its entirety. It comes with the following features:

• Valid for the entire duration of the party (3 days)
• A table space to put your stuff on inside the party hall
• A place to sleep in the sleeping hall (in the backstage area, please bring mattresses/sleeping bags)
• Breakfast included

Supporter Tickets (including T-Shirt + breakfast/sleeping): €70 – €200

The supporter ticket provides a considerable boost to what we can spend on party features. This will help us get better equipment, food, networking and other expenses and improve everyone’s party experience greatly. In addition to all of the standard ticket features above, as a supporter-ticket holder you will:

• be mentioned on our website as a supporter (unless you prefer to remain anonymous – simply tell us during the payment)
• be mentioned at the prizegiving as a supporter (unless you prefer to remain anonymous)
• you can send us a slide which will be regularly shown on the big screen during the party

• First time demoparty visitors: We want to encourage newcomers to come to Deadline! So if you’re unsure on wether it’s worth it or not take this opportunity, come around and be part of it!
• People who couldn’t afford to come otherwise: Eg. a low income, a far and expensive trip, etc. We don’t expect you to send us detailed explanations or copies of your account statement. Just be fair and don’t take this ticket if you could easily afford the other one, since we have a limited party budget.

All the Small Things: Tricks & Techniques used in Intros

Abstract:
Everybody knows and loves tiny intros from 1k to 64k, but how do these things actually work? Even the most basic "Hello World" program is already larger than 4k, so how can we possibly fit graphics and music in less space than that?

This talk describes some common tricks that are used under the hood in size-constrained productions, from high-level concepts like procedural generation and compression down to the unholy things that are done to the EXE file header. It starts with very basic stuff that is easily understandable for coders and non-coders alike, and gradually become more and more technical.
