Drag heatmap to scroll is stuttery

This is probably due to too many calls to this.requestUpdate(); caused by too many mousemove events.
Maybe improving performance of render functions could solve this. Otherwise throttling for mousemove
would need to be implemented which would require to make sure that no movement is lost.
