FH2go is an Android client for students of FH JOANNEUM to easily access marks, manage exams and keep an eye on the schedule.

There will be no further development.

Contributing

You are very welcome to contribute to this project. Create an issue for whatever feature or bug you would like to work on (or pick an existing issue), fork the repo, do your work and eventually create a pull request. If you would like to work on a larger improvement it makes sense to first discuss the feature here on GitHub.

Webservice

The app relies on the webservice documented at https://ws.fh-joanneum.at/manage/documentation.php. There you can also get a key which you need to enter in the at.fhj.app.util.Config class. If you want to contribute to the webservice you can also do so on GitHub: https://github.com/moopat/fhpi-server

Notifications on new marks

Regularly check on new marks and trigger a notification.

SBK is missing

Marks list items collapse if no mark is present

If there's no mark available for a course the list item collapses.

IIB 2016 is missing

Navigating back from schedule picker

When opening the schedule for the first time and navigating back without picking a class an empty schedule is displayed.

Expected: when navigating back in that case the home screen should be displayed.

Schedule does not load the first time

Reported by user: schedule does not load the first time (for some days), but is there when navigating back.

Tablet optimizations

Optimize FH2go for usage on tablets (esp landscape view)

Add mark statistics

Make use of mark statistics like iOS does.

Week overview for the schedule

Implement a week overview for the schedule (at least for tablets).

Allow viewing the schedule for arbitrary degree programmes

Users should be able to enter any degree programme abbreviation, even if it has not been defined statically.

Appropriate error messages if there are no marks or exams

Users think that an error occurred when in fact no data is available for them.
