morepath-website's Introduction

Installing this project

The easiest way to get this project installed with all its dependencies is to use buildout. First run bootstrap.py with a clean Python such as from a virtualenv:

$ python bootstrap.py

Then run:

$ bin/buildout

to get everything installed.

To build the HTML documentation you can now do:

$ bin/sphinxbuilder

The resulting HTML is installed under doc/build/html.

morepath-website's Issues

use sphinx theme (or variety thereof) in Morepath documentation

The readthedocs documentation should also use the new sphinx theme, or a variety thereof (so you can see the difference). But we don't want to break the readthedocs tools which are in the official themes, so perhaps we only want to adopt a color scheme or something.

need better navbar logo

Right now I put a stupid placeholder logo in doc/static/morepath_logo. It needs to be ideally 24x24 pixels. It's hooked up in html_logo in doc/conf.py.

navbar response to width

When you make the width less than a certain amount of pixels, the navbar breaks into multiple levels. This is not pretty. I know there's a bootstrap thingy that you can use to control when this happens to avoid this -- what level we need depends on how much we put in the navbar.
