A recipe app I'm working on in Rails. Currently working on a new seed file for playing around with the app.

Reformat alerts

The alerts are rendering within divs on the page. These should pop up somewhere above and hopefully will not impact text in the view.

New Instruction boxes when open a recipe to edit

opening a recipe again to edit it, generates a new instruction field which is then saved. There needs to be a reliable way to remove fields and to make sure a new one isn't populated in the edit action.

Ingredients should have a unit of measure

User can add recipes found on the site

A user should be able to grab a recipe they like and make it part of their own collection in order to edit and customize.

Associate Recipes to Users

Recipes created should be tied to a user. They can potentially choose to make it visible to other users or mark it as private.

Provide more functionality in forms/views

Some Ideas to consider:

• Prompts within texts fields to guide user as to required input.
• User can select from a list of Measurements, leave blank, or Other(custom measurement)
• Better numbering in views for Ingredients and Instructions

User can upload picture of the recipe.
