I was visiting the blog to test out the navigation and I managed to find a bug whereby the categories menu becomes impossible to open (tested in FF Nightly):

The menu should open.
Actual results:
The menu opens briefly, but then immediately closes again. Only refreshing the page seems to fix it.

Noticed this today when reading a blog post shared on Twitter:
The Glass Room NYC event ended in early 2017 and the site has been online with no updates since then. But it's a big, clunky WordPress site that relies on a premium (non-free) theme and several complex, non-free plugins which incurs some small overhead to keep the site up.
Since the event is long past and the site inactive, we're going to shut it down and redirect the domain to this blog post: https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2016/11/28/the-glass-room-looking-into-your-online-life/ which we can update in turn with links to theglassroom.org, a more permanent site owned and managed by Tactical Tech.
Once the site is decommissioned and redirecting we can permanently disable and delete the various themes and plugins it relies on which aren't in use by any other blogs.

I noticed a few different posts on the Mozilla Berlin blog have colour contrast issues, due to the white heading in the top hero section being positioned over the top of hero images.

A quick fix would be to choose different background images for these posts, however this kind of issue is likely to keep coming up given the current design. A better fix may be to tweak the header design so that the title can work on top of any background colour.
I'm currently working to revive the https://blog.mozilla.org/data and similar to the request in #1, I would like to add the Frontierline theme to the blog. I have admin privileges to the blog but it seems that I can't add themes to it. would someone be able to help me out with that?

The last month we run a test to check if the same content of https://blog.mozilla.org/firefox/firefox-64-default-64-bit-windows/ would perform better on www. We set a canonical to www but Google did not pick it up. Nonetheless, the page on www started ranking for similar keywords and has a way higher conversion rate: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DXXcfBLjIidNi5ETqOhdA7h64SU5OGXxydJHTegOylI/edit#gid=490387227
Therefore we want to redirect 301 https://blog.mozilla.org/firefox/firefox-64-default-64-bit-windows/ to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/windows-64-bit/ so all rankings of the blogpost are picked up by the page on www and we get a maximised conversion rate.
As the article is en-US only right now the redirect should go to the locale /en-US/ on www as well and not to the locale free redirect.

defacing spam has been removed
Restricting write access to contributors is strongly encouraged. Please make that change (documentation).
These were made as the result of a recent automated defacement of publically writeable wikis.
@craigcook made some theme changes on the Hacks blog that revealed some incompatibility between analytics.js on that blog and our DNT detection code.
We need to debug this and get DNT working on Hacks.

Unless we're really consistent in how we link to articles, this could create duplicate content in the eyes of a crawler. I do see a canonical URL set which is good, but we should probably still redirect pages without a locale to /en/.
Max-line length for readability is recommended to be between 50 and 70 characters per line. The current line length is a bit longer than that. It would be great if the content was slightly narrower.
