call.mozilla.org's Issues

Phone number editing adds strange behavious

  • When editing phone number input, if ( is edited, it's added back in.
  • If a new number is added at the beginning of the phone number, all other digits are replaced
    1. enter a few digits
    2. miss the first number of an area code
    3. hit home key
    4. enter number
    5. all other numbers are removed.
  • Handling of letters is a bit awkward

License?

Could you add a license file, eg AGPL v 3, or GPL v3, etc.

Fix desktop footer padding

There should be 45px of padding above the footer privacy policy text. Right now looks like there is only 25.

There should also be 30px space between the Mozilla and Twilio logos. Right now there is only 15px.

Fix spacing issues on "calling now" screen

  • vertical spacing between the "we are calling you now" message and the Headline should be the same amount of space as below the headline (should be 55px above and below the headline)
  • "Tips" headline text should be slightly smaller. In the design it is 30px (it should not be the same size as the headline above)
  • There should be more space between the "Tips" headline and the box background below – should be 20px (currently there's 10)
  • same style fixes for the blue box as in #43 for the light blue box (align left triangle)

Move moz logo in (set page container width)

Would like to set the page container width so that the grid works more like webmaker's, and so that the logo would come in closer to the rest of the content.
I'd be good with 1200 or thereabouts.

Make call preview box wider

If we fix the grid / container issue in #42, perhaps we can make the 'preview script' box wider.

In the designs, it takes up 7 columns and the 'ready to call' box takes up 5, which gives you a sense of the desired proportions.

preview-columns

Fix alignment inside preview box

  • The triangle on the speech bubble should align left with the text
  • the border radius of the shapes behind 'you name' and 'city, state' should be tighter; reduce to 5px.
  • and those background shapes also need to move down a bit so the text looks vertically centered within

call-preview-alignment

Tweak countdown box styling

  • Increase the background rectangle's curved corners to border-radius: 5px;
  • On .days-left, increase text to font-size: 70px; and slightly decrease space between the letters, perhaps letter-spacing: -2px;
  • space above and below the box should be 45px

alignment of "enter your phone number"

phonealign

The distance from the input to the left of the phone icon should be the same as the distance from the end of the phone input to the "r" at the end of "Enter your phone number"

typo in "tips" section

"When a call finishes, don't hand up. Press the * (star) key to call your next official."

"Hand" should be "hang"

Got "we have encountered an error - goodbye"

I was connected to an FCC commissioner, but the voicemail said "this mailbox is full" then the system voice for (Twilio?) said "Sorry we've encountered an error" and then it hung up.

CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md file missing

As of January 1 2019, Mozilla requires that all GitHub projects include this CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md file in the project root. The file has two parts:

  1. Required Text - All text under the headings Community Participation Guidelines and How to Report, are required, and should not be altered.
  2. Optional Text - The Project Specific Etiquette heading provides a space to speak more specifically about ways people can work effectively and inclusively together. Some examples of those can be found on the Firefox Debugger project, and Common Voice. (The optional part is commented out in the raw template file, and will not be visible until you modify and uncomment that part.)

If you have any questions about this file, or Code of Conduct policies and procedures, please see Mozilla-GitHub-Standards or email [email protected].
