[QUESTION] Set Cell Attributes method in the coverflow layout?

Hello,

I'm having a hard time understanding the beginning of the setCellAttributes:forVisibleRect: at CoverFlowLayout.m file,

    CGFloat distance = CGRectGetMidX(visibleRect) - attributes.center.x;
    CGFloat normalizedDistance = distance / ACTIVE_DISTANCE;
    BOOL isLeft = distance > 0;
    CATransform3D transform = CATransform3DIdentity;
    transform.m34 = -1/(4.6777 * self.itemSize.width);

Could you explain me what are you doing in these lines of code?
What's ACTIVE_DISTANCE, and basically what are you doing?

Add ability to pinch back "down" to stack layout

I found this very useful in teaching how to animate layout changes. There is the ability to pinch "open" from the stacked layout to other layouts. I would like to see the opposite implemented--pinching "closed" from other layouts into a stacked layout.

Interpolation Bug when Cell bounces back to screen center with CoverFlow layout

Your code suffers from an interpolation bug, I extracted my logic from it and I explained the issue in depth in the following stack overflow question:

Interpolation issue on custom UICollectionCoverflowLayout.

Basically there's an abrupt transition when the cell bounces back to the center of the screen using your CoverFlow layout.
