No AA icon on Home screen after installation
I went through the whole install process, rebooted the PCM, my phone. The PCM now asks me if I want to use my Android phone as a USB device or Android, I say Android, but the AA icon doesn't show up on the Home screen. Last step seems broken. My logs:

stuck in startup picture , help~
when MIB just installed , everything ran well. GEM shows well
but after some scripts(navigation ignore & startup picture change) run and reboot, the unit stuck in starup picture,
meanwhile , the radio sound is still working, carplay music still works when phone connected, navi in dashbord works ok too,
it seems some error in display in unit screen and stunk in startup pic. even when I try to press MENU button to enter service menu.
what should I do to recover the unit , thanks!

Memory fault (core dumped) when trying to active Green Menu
Firmware: MHI2_ER_AUG11_S0034_MU0073
I used M.I.B. via Putty because this has an on older GEM version.
I used Putty to connect via Telnet (MIB IP:172.16.250.248:123) and login as root. Root-Password for MHI2_ER_AUG11_S0034 is the same as for MHI2_ER_AUG11_P0040.
I inserted the SD card into slot SD1 of my MHI2 unit.
Mount SD card in slot SD1
mount -uw /net/mmx/fs/sda0/
start M.I.B by typing
/net/mmx/fs/sda0/start
Then selecting number 6: Developer Menu activation
I got:

Developer menu now activated
Then the unit rebooted, but Green Menu was not activated. Tried it 3 times, but alwasy the same ... no activation of Green Menu.
Any ideas?

Hi, original unit auti TTs 2016 was MHI2_ER_AU43x_P3226 NOW MHI2_ER_AU43x_P5098, after instal M.I.B. launcher and reboot system, there is no M.I.B. in green menu :( only "produciton" . Any solution ? :(

Patch problem
I have a problem with the patch.
I have the software MHI2Q_CN_AUG22_P0915 with MU-0915.
I followed the instructions but when patching, I got the following error at the end:
NO Flashfiles there! I have checked some times, and I find the FW of patches is right, but the patch file name is a little different，
Search File is MU0915......-30DF7F200.ifs, but patch file name is MU0915......-24DF7F200.ifs
Can I rename this file name? or other solutions？

I updated my firmware on my mhi2 to do the sub things from harman and bruce , all is well there.
I then attempted the fec codes for nav database which was successful and showing as valid, i then updated my maps and now it shows maps 2023
but after 1 min in the nav i get the error. the navigation data are not enabled
How would i go about validating this ?

Add EQ controls for MHI2 Skoda

I have Skoda Karoq with MIB 2.5 Retrofitted (Canton is original), SW version 1440.
I currently have 3 EQ fields, and I wonder if it is possible to increase this to 5 EQ sliders?
Meaning, also have Mid-Bass, Mid-Treble. Even with Canton, sound is not satisfying (moved from BOSE system on Audi A6 Avant which was far better).

Backing-up on a MHI2Q unit, I see the below error in the log.

NO VISUALISATION OF SMARTPHONE INTERFACE ICON ON MAIN MENU' OF AUDI TT MK3 2016

I have installed MIB2 V3.4.1 with MHI2_ER_AU43x_P5098_MU1339_PATCH on my AUDI TT MK3 2016 in order to activate AUDI SMARTPHONE INTERFACE (ASI).
After installation, ASI operate correctly, but it start only if i press the VOCAL COMMAND on the steering wheel from the window of the settings of main menù on Virtual Cockpit. ASI Icon on main menù of Virtual Cockpit not appear.
Below is the log after installation.
I have read on several forum that this problem appear on all AUDI TT cars with letterless Virtual Cockpit (2016 and below).
I write this topic for ask if this problem can be solved with some patch of More Incredible Bash.
NOTE: during installation i have noted a strange thing, that GEM activation is possible only with the keys combination from the settings window of main menù

About patch for MHI2Q_CN_AUG22_P1404
Hi,
The MIB is working fine on this version, but I wonder if there be a patch for this version soon?
ps: I already uploaded a backup to mibsolution.one in case you wish to look at it
MMI not booting after trying to enable dual navigation.
I tried to enable the dual navigation on my 2018 Audi Q5. To complete the process MIB restarts the MMI and it never restarted. The screen started to flicker and in VC "initializing" kept doing rounds. MMI shut off after like 1 minute. I tried MMI rest with left, right and center joystick button. It then started to repeat the same flickering and then stops and shows as "unknown" in the VC.
I tried removing the fuse and disconnecting the battery terminals. Didn't resolve the issue.

Background:
I had just updated from stock firmware MHI2_US_AUG22_P3252 to MHI2_US_AUG22_K3347 and then patched to update to latest maps just yesterday. While patching it took MHI2_US_AUG22_K3345 automatically. Everything was working fine. The navigation map were the latest and no issues were there. I just wanted to enable the dual navigation and this happened.
Please please please please help. I am stressed out and panicking.

My FEC is out of date - 0230002a, and I would like to replace it by 023000EE.
I have installed the paych without any errors, but nothing is happen. FEC is still the same.

Android Auto not working after installation
I went through the installation process, rebooting the PCM several times. The PCM prompts if I want to use Android auto after connecting the phone and does nothing after I choose the Android Auto function.
It seems the IFS flashing step failed.

MHI2 no AM and FM buttons in source
Hi
I made a conversion (US->EU) from MHI2_US_POG11_P4151 to MHI2_ER_POG11_K5126. Everything ended well, navigation, android auto, sound (I have bose) works without a problem. The only problem I have is the lack of AM and FM selection buttons from the source tab
FM works fine, the List button shows a list of all available stations that can be selected. Another problem is that after pressing Tune button nothing happens, there is no window with the option to enter the frequency manually. Has anyone encountered such a problem? How to fix it? Should I try flashing only the tuner?

In audi a4 b9 with mhi2q exists cars that can select drive select mode (dynamic, sport, custom) and this selection can be done in mhi2 menú BUT you need to have a special physical buttons to use this function. Exist a coding to active this carisma menu but in mmi with the coding you cannot select the audi drive menu. Could you study the posibility of activate this menu?

After installing the toolbox correctly, and making the backup, I have proceeded to activate the patch to ignore the active navigation in Android Auto, in order to continue seeing the map in the VC.
The patch is applied correctly, but after restarting the unit, the map in the virtual cockpit is still disabled when activating a route in Waze or Google Maps. If I try to apply the patch again, it warns that the file is already copied and does nothing.

Can't download LFS files
I can't pull any LFS file, as git clone raises an error: Smudge error: Error downloading 2022_03_MHI2_Password_List_V3.9.pdf:
This repository is over its data quota. Account responsible for LFS bandwidth should purchase more data packs to restore access.
No sound output from Android Auto apps.
No sound output from AA apps (tried Spotify, Mediamonkey and Google Maps - et al)
I have Bose Sound system in my car (Audi A6 MY17) . Everything else, including Media sound seems to work.

Hi! Just a minor thing but still I'm gonna report it.
Instead of MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P4212_MU1117 it should be MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P4212_MU1177.
VIM for 18 B9 S4 P+ B&O - Set to 199 kph, but turns off at 1 kph.
Not sure if this is a bug or limitation of my MMI, other features like map updates seem to work fine. I tried setting the VIM to 199, the MMI rebooted, showed 199 as the current setting, but still turns off when rolling. One thing I noticed was that it was set to 1 kph when I first looked in the vim menu after flashing, but it shows the default as 6 kph in the menu. Seems to turn off right around 1 kph regardless of being set to 199.

Before patching a backup of the original dataset is saved to /backup/ folder and can be restored.
Two functions:
- Enable Subwoofer Knob
- Also set EQ dials on brand base:
- AUDI: trebble/bass
- VW/Skoda: trebble/middle/bass
- SEAT: trebble/midtrebble/middle/midbass/bass
- Fixed gain increase for subwoofer
- For all with not working subwoofer knob due ti missing implementation in GUI
- For all who want a fixed increase

CRC calculation of the very long 0x3000 dataset will take about 2 Minutes!

Observation:
- It looks like the subwoofer setting is not fully stored in unit. The knob stays at the configured position - graphically. However, after switching the unit off/on as change of source the subwoofer is back to normal and one has to go back to the menu to re enable the adjustment.

problems after installing M.I.B. - More Incredible Bash
Hello,
I need your help because I got 2 problems after installing "M.I.B._More-Incredible-Bash" on my machine (A4 B9 2016 MIB 2 High):
- Module 5F can no longer be accessed with OBDELEVEN - VCDS interfaces (unit is not responding)
- The HDD is no longer visible in the MMI unit

Navignore not working for MHI2_ER_AU57x_K3663 (most likely als not for other 3xxx firmware)
Navignore jar installs via MIB 3.5.0 without any errors, however, dual nav is still not working.
- Tried AA and CP
- Doesn't matter wheter I start Audi Nav or AA/CP first, it will always stop the other nav tool.
- I tried to uninstall and install again, but no success
- I am running the common AIO package which is running fine. (so I guess others will have this issue as well)
MIB log file attached. (navignore is 3 times in the log since I tried unistall/install again)

Metainfo2 issue
I did a clean install of my FW (MHI2_ER_SEG11_P4709_MU1447) to patch with the new MIB version 3.2.0 however i am receiving always a message of error when reading metainfo2.txt
I have extracted all the files in the root directory and copied the corresponding patch on the patch folder.

Unexpected Problems after installation

Hi, I have 2016 A4 2.0 TDI Sport with Virtual Cockpit Display(stock) and in order to update Navigation Maps for Turkey have installed MHI2_ER_AUG22_P3241_MU0678 and GEM 4.5 installed with M.I.B_patches_2023_04_08. Before installation MHI2 version was MHI2_ER_AUG22_P2148. At the end of the day, map couldn’t be updated (P101_N60S5MIBH3_ROW from MIB Solutions) despite adding 023000ee, car setting menu in MHI2 disabled and Navigation, Telephone and Media tabs are disabled. (Tabs are present but infos seen on MIH2 including map aren’t shown in Virtual Cockpit Display.
I've checked every line of your page about this issue, and after several attempts I did right installation. While attempts i couldn't install anything, so didn't change anything in GEM.
After installation of GEM 4.5, first I got back and just patched FEC and MHI2_ER_AUG22_P3241_MU0678 from M.I.B_patches_2023_04_08.
