Blockchain Building Blocks

The objective of this homework is to explain how to deploy a blockchain and interact with it using a crypto wallet, in this case MyCrypto. I have not included the setup of the blockchain as it is the same as the one explained in class.

1. Deploy Two Blockchain Nodes

Connecting MyCrypto wallet to the created Blockchain

Select "Keystore File"

Click on "SELECT WALLET FILE"

From the node directory, in the keystore folder, select the file in that directory. That will open the wallet of that node in MyCrypto:

Enter your wallet's password and click "Unlock":

There is your wallet with a balance of 1,118.6871 ETH

Now, we are going to tranfer ETH from one wallet to the other. So first we obtained the other node address:

and then proceed with the sending of the ETH. In this case I am sending 100 ETH

The Transaction went through:

Checking Transaction Status:

and mining request receieved by the node:

And finally, the node processed the transaction succesfully:
